Our brief was to refresh the branding of a Soho institution without really changing or losing any of the familiar qualities that had become so well known over the last fifty years. We recreated the font from the Grade II listed 1950s shopfront and used their famous peppermint green to maximum effect.
We used the Lina green on packaging and in the store itself. We developed the Lina stripe for use on wrapping and packaging materials, and added more branded items like espresso and cappucino cups, teatowels and tote bags to promote more recognition of the brand. Our design work has helped to revive Lina Stores whilst keeping its timeless, familiar feel with a coherent, clear identity.
