Scientists and physicians have been studying the medical benefits of cannabis since 1533. So when CBD – one of the chemicals in cannabis – was recently made legal, these old findings became a new-found phenomenon for the wellbeing sector.
Inspired by apothecary designs of the past, we helped Holland & Barrett seamlessly introduce their new CBD range into the present.
Our aim was to craft an identity that would stand out from the minimalist, modern CBD brands on the market. Inspired by Holland & Barrett’s rich heritage, and the natural forms found amongst apothecary graphics, every product in the range has its own pattern. These patterns envision the natural ingredients found inside, using abstracted flowers and leaves to give the range a crafted, trustworthy feel.
The warm tone of voice and gentle pastel-coloured packs visualise CBD’s calming effects and allow the products to be found easily on shelves.
