Hide is an exercise in refinement, craft and elegance. The brief, to create the visual identity for a three-storey luxury restaurant in the heart of London, offered the perfect chance to design without compromise. We took a modern approach to luxury, with the aim of creating a pure dining utopia.
We selected a simple, elegant word marque, with a sunken metal nameplate the only signage. This meeting of modern and heritage reflects the overarching identity of the restaurant, delivering a contemporary feel with clear roots in eighteenth-century typefaces synonymous with elegance.
Collaborating with specialist printers, and drawing on their experience in technical processes, we used the highest quality materials and finishes to express the ethos, with natural materials including leather and wood playing a strong role.
We introduced a brand colour palette that speaks to neighbouring Green Park, with rich earthy browns, warm woods and textured bronze. Everything is completely bespoke, from the leatherwork and embossing of the menus to the storytelling of each themed private dining room within the subterranean vaults delivered to exacting standards of unparalleled luxury.
